YUZU7

The name “YUZU7” comes from the fact that Ume-no-Yado Brewery uses seven yuzu trees per bottle of their “Yuzu Sake”. They are the invisible spirits of yuzu, who bring you happiness when you drink yuzu sake at bars and parties.

The characters were created by Yuki Koishikawa, who has a reputation for “designs that mature women find cute. The animation is directed by Maiku Matsumura (director and animator of “Fusen Inu Tinny” for NHK E-TV) and written by Masako Imai (writer for NHK’s morning drama series “Teppan”), in order to spread awareness of Ume-no-Yado Brewery’s “Yuzu Sake” especially to the women in the United States and abroad.
